Certified Strategic.
The Digital Transformation Agency Hosting Certification Framework certifies suppliers at three different levels – Certified Strategic, Certified Assured, and Uncertified.
- Certified Strategic: The highest level of assurance and recommended for highly sensitive data and Whole-of-Government platforms. Certified Strategic providers meet government-specified ownership and control conditions.
- Certified Assured: Does not provide guarantees but instead safeguards the government from the risks of changing ownership and control through financial penalties. Recommended for less sensitive data.
- Uncertified: Can hold unclassified data if an agencies risk assessment determines it is appropriate.
Through these three levels of certification, Commonwealth agencies are now able to make appropriate risk assessments when seeking to procure external vendors for direct and/or indirect hosting requirements.
Macquarie Government is only one of three providers to be certified at the Strategic level.
